How to unlock

Bio Scanner required
Most BioMods require the Bio Scanner attachment (green glow while aiming). Parts are found in the late-game zone; craft at a Modification Station. Standard Scanner scans do not unlock BioMods—you must re-scan donors with the Bio Scanner.
Where to scan
Small fish you can grab by hand on the north edge of late-game waters past the canyon, near the giant structure.
In-game effect
Emits an audible beeping alert when aggressive predators are nearby.
Tips
Helpful near Angel Comb and other high-traffic predator zones.
