Homing Sense
PassiveDetect nearby bases with electrical power
Always active while equipped·Early Access: equip 1 Active (default Shift on PC) and 1 Passive at a time.
How to unlock
Scan both Hammerhead and Surge Jelly with the Bio Scanner.
Bio Scanner required
Most BioMods require the Bio Scanner attachment (green glow while aiming). Parts are found in the late-game zone; craft at a Modification Station. Standard Scanner scans do not unlock BioMods—you must re-scan donors with the Bio Scanner.
Where to scan
Hammerhead: swim east from the Life Pod. Example Surge Jelly: ~170 m south-southeast of the pod.
In-game effect
Shows a lightning-bolt icon on the UI for nearby bases with electrical power—useful for hidden blueprint rooms.
Tips
Less critical in the starter reef you already know, but valuable when exploring late-game zones and future content.
