Troilite does not spawn as loose seabed pickups. Break Deep Root Resonatable Resource nodes (mineralized clinker) with the Sonic Resonator—each node drops troilite (guaranteed, often multiple). After unlocking Metal Farms, plant a troilite seed and break the grown resonatable deposit for 2 troilite per harvest. Scan or pick up troilite once to unlock the PDA entry. Biomods with mineral nibbling restore +30 oxygen when eating troilite.
