The basic prefab locker (sold as the "Cachet" in the Alterra blueprint catalogue) comes default on all Alterra habitat builders. The Cachet is guaranteed to secure several kilograms of bulk cargo against flooding, depressurization, fire, and most animal intrusion.
Colonial records indicated that pioneers were wasting precious shift time sorting and labeling their lockers for quick access. PDAs now log the contents of every locker to a manifest, allowing fabricators to request materials directly from their storage point. No more sorting needed.
